It just happened....

had the dreaded Marathon Nightmare. All I remember is that the friend driving me to the marathon said he'd help me out by dropping me off at mile 23, then I discovered I forgot my running shoes! I immediately started to think I should do another marathon so I'd get it right. I checked into the Arizona one but it was sold out! What a nightmare!!

omg talk about scary. Honestly I have had shoe problems when walking and taking them off really helped me out alot. sometimes you are better to go barefooted.

Funny I had that dream were you are walking with Lora in a park. what a nightmare. We should been running. :).

Lora, Lora, we will never run out of marathons to run. Even if all of them are sold out, you can still find one in New Mexico. This is a runner's state. We had two in September, and the Duke City Marathon is coming up in October. I moved here before I knew I would start running one day.

omg haight how did you know I needed sleep and I been drinking way too much coffee?

it has been one of those weeks. I guess my dream is telling me I am disappointed for not running with Lora on satuday.

You are not the only one this week that has had a marathon nightmare. PlusI just checked out the P.F. Chang's RNR AZ website and did not see that they were sold out. Gin Blossoms are the headline band this year. Whoohoo!

How annoying! This must be the runner's version of the nightmare where we are are back in high school and there is a test in advanced thermodynamic calculus or something and we didn't study? Yeah, as if I studied back then.

Maybe a nice glass of a good vintage before bed would help?

I find that the more marathons you run the less nightmares you have. It might work for you as well.

However, I did have a marathon nightmare not very long ago so maybe my theory is a bunch of crap.
