Lora it is important to set realistic goals. That is the most unrealistic goal I have ever heard of. If you're serious you would have destroyed it and flushed it down the toilet or something. The torture of it just sitting there could cause a major breakdown.
I entered races in 2004, after years as a casual runner. Loving the marathon level of running, I now have entered the "dark side" -- ultrarunning. I DNF'd at my first 50 miler, only doing 40 miles. But I hit it in 2009! I am now a legit Ultrarunner!!
