And another one...

I keep getting infected!! So here's the next one.....

1) Find nearest book
2) Name book and author
3) Turn to page 123
4) Go to 5th sentence and copy the next three to blog
5) tag 3 others

Here's the two books on my bedside table:

Tales Of A Female Nomad by Rita Golden Gelman
pp 123.....5th sentence:
Indonesians do not understand overt rudeness: whatever the circumstances, the impression of civility must always be maintained. I walk over and sit down. "Dr Galdikas, " I say, "I admire your work very much."

A Step Beyond: A Definitive Guide to Ultrarunning edited by Don Allison
pp123.....5th sentence
Swimming. This is one tough sport! More than in any other endurance sport, proper form and mechanics are paramount in swimming.

By the way, I would recommend both books highly.

p.s. I'm taking extra Vit C to avoid all other infections. :)

(ok, let's see if this post takes...new Beta thing is weird)

I'm glad you didn't tag me with your 'infection'. I'm tired of swapping germs with you ;)

If I was to post page 123 from a book, would that mean I need to reach 123? That's asking an awful lot.

If the person that is "it" is fast, just find a good hiding place. That is what I do.

You might want to quarantine yourself Lora. It's crazy out there.

Tales of a Female Nomad sounds interesting. I like reading the bike tour books like Babara Savage.

"...Indonesians do not understand overt rudeness..." Once upon a time Americans didn't either, what happened, or am I just old?

Sounds like some good reading.
