- I entered races in 2004, after years as a casual runner. Loving the marathon level of running, I now have entered the "dark side" -- ultrarunning. I DNF'd at my first 50 miler, only doing 40 miles. But I hit it in 2009! I am now a legit Ultrarunner!!
