My New Tee

A great big THANKS to Bad Ben's Ramblings for offering this tee on his blog. The designer is a blogger who I have enjoyed peeking at his work over here......Ink Doodles.

Hopefully, next year I'll be legit in wearing this shirt as I plan to do one of Ben's wild ultras!!

I need one of those.. especially since I'm a computer guy and trail runner :) How do you like that new Garmin? I had the 301, but traded it in for the Polar 625 for my triathlons. Hope that injury heals up.

Nerd alert!!!;-)
Since Travis asked about the Garmin, thought I'd throw in another question- is the unit sealed *as in water-tight* or does it have a mini-usb port like the 301 covered by a rubber seal?

Lora that shirts does not fit you. You are the opposite of a nerd. Atleast on the outside. You may be a nerd on the inside but not on the outside.

As for the garmin vs polar. Both are useful but I personaly find the garmin 301 better than the polar 625x. I run down hills really fast and its harder for the polar to handle changes in speed. Chicago marathon with my polar was about 28 miles. chicago distance classic was 14.6. Garmin has been 26.19 for my last 2 marathons.

OK---I gotta say I'm loving the garmin 305!! Took me a bit to figure out how to get the settings on the face that I wanted--but it's an amazing computer!

It has a map--for gods sake!! Can lead you back to where you started...like throwing down breadcrumbs!

Travis....don't you find the polar hard to transition for the different sports? Garmin is just a click.

Mike...the usb port is in a cradle so no cover needed on the watch. It claims to be waterproof--not sure what depth it can handle.

Oh Todd--I am really a nerd inside. Give me queer glasses, a book delivered every other day, granola bars to munch on, my pda, a writing pad and pen and I'll hole myself up for a looooong time. Oh--and my puppy please!

Nice shirt, I'm going to have to take vacation in the states so I can run one of Ben's races and get a T-shirt.

All of my races use Jason's designs. He rocks!

Awesome!! You never know what you're gonna see when you're scoping out other blogs....you might even see a shirt you designed!!!

Glad everybody likes it. Ben and the other KC Trail Nerds are great. I was a trail runner before I moved to KC (about a year ago), but I always went by myself. It's nice to have a group now.

BTW, I saw a lady in the grocery store wearing one of my shirts recently.
