You're All Amazing

Wow--you all just blow me away. Thanks for all the believing in me. Makes me want to just book a marathon in each of your states (countries) just so I can run with yas!!

I'll take mucho pics to post. I'm getting very excited!! I emailed the group I trained for this race and have heard back from many of them. They are very nervous and it's just awesome to see the race thru their eyes....brings it all back to when I started. And that's what it's all about--getting more people into the sport, more people getting healthy, sharing this great feeling.

The shoes are sponsored by New Balance--lucky for me since that's what I wear. Each pace leader got to pick their style--I wear the 1023's, which are now the 1000's. We are all given a specific outfit to wear---must have lots of advertising for New Balance on it. Nothing like America and their bottom lines!!

And, oh, by the way--I'm only 7 lbs away from my goal! Holy Cripes Batman!!!

7 lbs? what is your goal to be thinning than kate moss? You know your group will have pace group syndrome. Many will not be able to keep up with you because well its you. In fact most will try to beat you. I would not mind though being a pace group leader for a race. I think it would be fun. I like to do the chicago marathon but you have to be alot faster than the pace group you want to lead and since well I have not even pred that it will be awhile.

I am DROOLING over the shoes - New Balances. I will wear NOTHING else but them. I love my 767's and have been a dream since I bought them. I would mind having my race outfit with NB stuff. **sigh**

I consider myself very lucky to have a New Balance factory outlet just down the road =) Massachusetts is like the running shoe capital with Reebok, New Balance and Saucony manufactory’s and each has outlets located thought-out mass!! So if you find yourself in mass one day…plan on heading to these hidden jewels for some great deals.

Congrats on reaching your goal!! Have a great weekend!
